"THE PROPOSiTION"
Definition: A preposition is a word placed before a noun or a pronoun to show its
relations to some think elsein the sentence:as,
The book is on the table.
The watch is not with me.
A preposition may be placed before a noun ,a noun clause or a noun phrase .
The noun or pronoun before which a preposition is placed is known as its object.
It is said to be the objective case and is governed by the propostion.
In some cases the prepostion follows the object : as,
(a) This is the man the police are searching for.
(b) What are you laughing at ?
FORMS OF PERPOSITIONS:
1) Single Prepostions:
' By,at ,with,in,an ,to,for,of,off,form,through,uptill,over,under after. '
2)Double preposition :
They are used which a single preposition is not sufficient
to express the sense; as
(a) He was chosen from among the rest.
(b) He came from with in the house.
(c) PHRSE PREPOSITION:
Two or more words habitually used together
and ending with a simple preposition may be called phrase prepositions
or prepositional phrase:as
In the event of his father's death,he will be left poor ,he worked hard
for the sake of a prize.
Preposition of Adverb:
Some words are used some times are prepostion and some
as Adverb when these words govern a noun or a pronoun,these are
preposition,otherwise these are adverb:as
(a) Do not run about. (adverb)
Do not worry about the matter. ( prepostions)
(b) I have not seen him before.( adverb )
I saw him the day before.

"PARTS OF SPEECH"
1) NOUN : It is the name of a person,think,place,or an idea.Any think we can hear
touch,taste,feel,and think is a noun,like ,Man,Boy,Pen,Allama iqbal.
2) PRONOUN: It is used instead of a nounto avoid repitition.

3) VERB: A Verb show an action in a sentence or tells something about the noun or subject .The verb is concerned with doing or being.(like ) go ,went
gone,come,come.
4) ADJECTIVE: It is a word which qualifiesa noun or pronoun.
Examples:Good ,better,best
Degrees.
5) ADVERB: It is word which qualifies a verb or an adjective.
Examples:
Adjective ( fast) Add "LY" to make ADVERB.

6) PREPOSITION: It is a word which tell us about the position of one think in
relation to another.
Examples: into,in,on,at,over,under,down,up,for,of,to.

Kind of sentences: 1) simples sentences.
2) compound sentences. 3) complex sentences.
1) simples sentences: Such sentences which express only a single thought,
action or state and have only a finite verb are called simple sentences
EXAMPLE: I go to school
He wants to sleep.
2) compound sentences: Such sentences which expresses more than one thought ,action or state and have one principal clause and one or more co-ordinate
clauses are compound sentences.
EXAMPLES: The sun rises in the East and sets in the West.
3) complex sentences: More than one principal clause.

what is sentence: A sentence is composed of different words.Words,when
composed in a particular combination ,convay a complete sense.Such a combination
is called a sentense.
kinds of Sentence:
1) Assertive tense.
2) Interrogative sentense.
3) Imperitive sentences.
4) Optative sentences.
5) Exclamatory sentences.
1) what is Assertive tense: A sentense that makes a statament or assertion
is called an assertive sentences.
EXAMPLES: I like my country.
He does not play well.
2) Inerrogative sentences: A sentense that ask a question is called an
Interrogative sentense.A question mark is put at the end of such a sentense.
EXAMPLE: Was he reading the book?

3) Imperitive sentences: A sentense that expresses a command or an
entreaty is called an Imperitive sentences.
EXAMPLES : Get out of the room at once.
Always speak the truth.
4) Optative sentences: An Optative sentences expresses sudden emotion Mark of exclamation ( ! )
EXAMPLES : May you live long.
He wants to sleep.
5) Exclamatory sentences: A sentences that expresses strong fellings
is called Exclamatory sentences.
